Welcome to the For Staff
section of TLC online! This section is devoted to professional development
and staff representative activities of special interest to classified employees
at North Seattle Community College, featuring
the current events of two committees: CDAC and STARS.
NSCC Professional Development Grant Application
There is money available for employees who wish to work on professional development by attending off-campus conferences or workshops that would benefit them in carrying out their job duties. Please click on the link above to find out more about this resource and how to apply for it.
NSCC's CDAC is the most
active professional development committee for classified
workers in the
Seattle Community College District. Through this
organization, non-teaching staff continues each year
to foster student success by improving their own skills.
STARS Committee (Staff
Representatives), serves as communicators for classified workers
when dealing with
all-campus issues, welcomes new employees, and provides community-building
opportunities for the entire campus.
Part of the work of both
CDAC and STARS is to
celebrate the community of workers at North Seattle Community College.
