DESCRIPTION:On May 29th the Career Services Department hosts the annual
Puget Sound Radio Broadcasters Association Job Fair. The fair represents
an opportunity for job seekers to contact the 30 major radio stations
from the greater Puget Sound area about a variety of job openings\,
including engineering\, sales\, accounting\, HR\, programming\,
promotions\, and many others.\n \nThis is an opportunity for job seekers
to talk to a variety of personnel from many stations. Each group will
have at least one person that is in charge of hiring at their company.
Many times the General Sales Managers\, Production Directors\, Program
Directors\, and others will also take turns at their booths. The Job Fair
emphasizes that there are many people with many skill sets\, behind the
scenes as well as on air\, that contribute to the radio stations'
successful operations.\n \nSeattle Community College Television (SCCTV)
will also participate in the fair. They will contribute an iPod prize
drawing for all Job Fair attendees to enter to win.\n \nWe will be
looking for you from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the education building\, top
floor. The building is on the east side of the North Seattle Community
College campus\, 9600 College Way North. Admission is free. Metro bus
routes 5\, 16\, 75\, 316\, 345\, 346\, serve the campus directly. Parking
on campus is also available.\n \n
